Prop Design for a marketing agency fromf Sheboygan Falls, Wis.

Project Brief

I was hired to create a printed prop by a frequent collaborator, Amanda Tollefson, who was working with the marketing agency FifthColor on a short video shoot. The agency asked for a fake newspaper with an advertisement about a “potent rooster” on a folded page. I used the client’s animatic storyboard as a reference when selecting ad copy for the newspaper. I pulled text from several real classified postings from rural northern Wisconsin to fill the page.

Properly formatted newspaper with a classified section, that sets the tone and gives valuable context to the viewer in a script-less video.
